While looking for software similar to Git LFS or Syncthing, I came across Kopia. It seems like a great tool for backing up and managing my work files and personal documents. Here's why I chose Kopia: 1. Encryption by default: Encryption is applied by default, with no extra configuration needed. 2. Cross-platform: It works across a variety of operating systems. 3. Support for diverse backends: In addition to cloud storage services, it supports various storage options such as SFTP, WebDAV, and self-hosted repository server. 4. Fast transfer speeds 5. Simple setup: Setup is much simpler compared to Syncthing. The one downside, if I had to name one, is that KopiaUI is built on Electron.
